I was born
and raised in Ontario, Canada and moved to New York after completing
graduate studies in Canada and the Netherlands. I have a strong appreciation
for functional and simple design, an appreciation that reflects my belief
that our private and shared spaces have an intimate connection to our
sense of balance and our mood - too much clutter and confusion doesn't
only look wrong, it feels wrong. I find Scandinavian design simplicity
and purity truly inspiring and it motivates me to create objects and
spaces that I feel casually engage us, yet clearly offer up their function
and utility. I am a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design, and
currently design for pleasure and my own personal sense of balance.
